The standards every campaign must meet
- Target businesses, lawfully. Use business contact details and have a legitimate reason to make contact.
- Be honest. Accurate sender name and subject line; no deception about who you are or why you're writing.
- Make opting out easy. Every message includes a working way to unsubscribe, and opt-outs are honoured promptly.
- Identify yourself. Include a real business identity and a valid contact/postal address.
- Send responsibly. Keep volumes sensible and warm up new sending domains, so mail stays welcome and lands.
Laws this helps you follow
Depending on where your recipients are, outreach may be subject to Jamaica's Data Protection Act, 2020, the US CAN-SPAM Act, Canada's CASL, and the EU/UK GDPR & ePrivacy rules. You are responsible for lawful targeting and content; IslandLeads provides the authentication, opt-out handling, and sending practices that support compliance.
Enforcement
If a campaign breaches this policy, we may pause or stop sending, require changes, or end the service — immediately where needed to protect recipients, deliverability, or reputation. We may also act to comply with the law or a provider's requirements.
